Introduction

In notes preserved in the APIS record for this papyrus T. Christensen remarked that line 3 of the papyrus had not been transcribed in the edition of P.Corn. 31. It seems to me that what was transcribed as line 2 in the edition is a mixture of lines 2 and 3 on the original. The text below offers a renumbering of the lines to accommodate lines 2 and 3 of the original, for which new readings have been made.
